Polymer-sand tile is produced from complex composition material through pressing method with preliminary heating of the components. it consists of 70% of sand, 28% of polymer and 2% of coloring material. Polymer-sand tiles are practically isn't exposed to UV lights and do not lose their colour, it isn't afraid of sharp temperature changes and severe frosts. During production process th tile went through temperature tests at -65º to +100ºC. Polymer-sand tiles do not absorb water and cannot be influenced by moulds,acid rains and moss.

Low heat conductivity and water resistance preconditions absence of condensate on the internal surface of the tile that considerably prolongs time of service of wooden and mansard constructions of a roof.

 

Polymer tiles have surprisingly beautiful appearance and is simple in installation. Unlike the traditional tile it is much lighter - no more than 22kg. sq.m.Polymer-sand tile also possesses high sound-proof qualities,therefor does not demand creation of special suppressing layers.

At purchase of tiles the necessary quantity is calculated precisely according to the covering area, without making any stock in case of unforeseen assembly expenses ( unlike with traditional tile).When covering hip-and-valley roofs you will not have a big quantity of off-cuts as polymer-sand tile is easily cut with angle grinder. As for the installation itself, the use of polymer-sand tile allows to save even on hardware products as it does not require any special fixture or nails. You can easily use screws or usual slab nails.These tiles installation is so simple that it can be done by an amateur. Moreover,the tile is light weight which allows to save timber on roof structure.
