Installation Recommendations of polymer-sand roof tile

Polymer roof tile is made from high impact material. It can not be broken when falls from height like ceramic or cement tiles and also can not be bended like metal tile.

One polymer roof tile can withstand a load of 360kg. You can walk freely on the roof covered with polymer tiles during installation and thereafter.

Polymer tile is a reusable material. You can use it many times if you want to change the shape of your roof for example. It is easy to dismantle and re-assemble.

Underlay

Approved roofing felt is to be laid over rafters.Start laying from the edge of the eaves and up to the ridge, carried well into gutters and secured with nails.

Batterns

It is recommended to use quality softwood batterns of 40*50mm or 50*50mm. Distance between the battens  is from 320 to 350mm. The greater the slope of the roof - the wider the pitch of the batterns. The angle of the roof is 25 degrees.

ABOUT
New production technologies and development of polymer industry enabled  to develop polymer-sand composition material which makes the base for the new type of this roofing material POLYMER ROOF TILES.
Polymer-sand tile consists of 70% of sand, 28% of plastic (polymer) and 2% of coloring material.
Thinking of all advantages and drawbacks of existing roofing materials, we can come to some conclusions : the roofing should be durable, light, water and fire-resistant, requiring minimum operating expenses. And the whole roof should be such as done once with care and serve you for the next 50 or even 70 years. All these requirements may be found in our roofing material-POLYMER SAND TILE.
